These mounts have been specially developed to withstand some serious beating.
The lowers feature upper and lower plates to provide a full wrap around welding surface to the axle housing, as well as offset inner plates for even more weld surface to spread the load on the housing.
The upper has been carefully produced to emulate the factory mount, but with more weld surface and thicker material, as well as a built in gusset.
“Why would I need these?” For many of us, the factory axle is good enough for our intended use, however for some of us, we require a stronger, wider, and/or bigger rear end.
Due to joint mounting width, these are specifically designed to work ONLY with our LT3 link kit for customers who want to swap to a bigger Toyota rear end, such as Sequoia, Tundra, or Tacoma, without having to reuse the factory axle side link mounts.
