When dropping an 80’s or 90’s 5.0L 302 engine in your Bronco, you will need to convert your factory 28 oz flywheel to a 50 oz flywheel instead. When you do this, it’s best to go ahead and install a latest 18 finger diaphragm style clutch as well. We have simplified this search for you with 11 inch clutch & flywheel set for early Broncos running late model 302/5.0L engines. This clutch conversion kit includes a new 11 inch clutch kit and a new 11 inch manual transmission flywheel with 50 ounce balancing along with fresh clutch pressure plate and flywheel mounting bolts. This is a direct bolt-in replacement. THIS IS FOR 50 OZ ENGINES ONLY! TYPICALLY FOUND IN 1980 & NEWER ENGINES! Flywheel provided is 164 tooth. Please verify this information prior to purchase! It also now includes a new roller pilot bearing which is a extremely recommended upgrade as compared to the factory clutch pilot bushing. The roller pilot bearing is quieter and will last longer than a factory style clutch bushing.
