These inserts use an interference fit at the top portion where they fit in between the robust top and bed rail. Created to be used with the hard top on. Use without the top requires some modifications. We recommend purchasing velcro strips from your local fabric keep or dollar store to secure the vertical sides to the body. Alternatively, they can be installed using self tapping sheet metal screws. These panels utilize the factory installation hardware to secure the top of the panels. If you don’t use the factory hardware, you will want to use something to fill the space between the quarter panel insert and the top of the quarter panel.
